Why no big number?
A channel count will not tell you if you can watch your show
You will see websites promising tens of thousands of channels. That number says little about what you would actually watch, and nobody can easily check it.
A better test is to name the three or four things you cannot do without and ask whether they are available now. That is the question we answer before you pay.
Line-ups change. Channels can be added, moved or removed, and a stream can have an off day. If a single channel is the only reason you are subscribing, tell us, and choose a shorter plan.
Finding your way around the guide
Most player apps show the same three things, whatever device you use:
- Categories down one side, so you can jump straight to a group
- A program guide showing what is on now and next, where the channel provides this
- Favorites so that the channels you use most stay at the top
The first thing we suggest is building a favorites list. It takes five minutes, and it makes the service feel much smaller and easier to use.
